The software is fast, reliable and very flexible. A highlight of the system is customer contracts which can be signed electronically. Multiple room bookings can be made very easily with little duplication of work, which has saved an enormous amount of time. Events500 has revolutionized the way we work Having the ability to do everything from proposals to contracting to final details and invoicing on the go made so much sense. There are fewer errors as the proposal creates the contract which then creates the function sheet and invoicing, and it's made us a lot more efficient in the process.

The installation process and initial training was well conducted and the support we have received thereafter has been excellent. New users have picked up the system quickly and the documents it produces have given us a much more professional approach. Overall the system has reduced the time spent on admin and reporting by two thirds allowing us more time to concentrate on sales and marketing our venue. Having an “all in one” system from enquiry to invoice is the best thing - it means I can send all my documents from one location instead of using lots of different programs. We moved to E500i recently, it was a very quick and easy transition. We find E500i incredibly easy to use. It’s very self-explanatory and works how an Events Managers brain works when planning events. The team at E500 are always on hand and are really helpful. We have also managed to integrate with Venue Directory to allow online booking - this is great as it is something we have wanted to do for a while but the admin side was incredibly time consuming. However, because of the integration it is all now live availability.

Moving to E500 was a huge step for us in 2023. The training and set up team were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, we had 2 days onsite training to set up and use the system before going live. This helped our team get a feel for it and understand the benefits of using it. Importing the data from excel into the system was straight forward and going live didn’t take too long. Any little tweaks we have asked for have been implemented very quickly by the E500 team. The support from them is second to none and we are excited to see what they come up with next to help us in the wedding world!

Our previous software was time consuming and the different programmes did not ‘talk’ to one another. events500 does do this and gives the user the option to view, print or manually adjust the documents produced. We are now able to respond and track business much more efficiently and can collate data more easily. Having the data hosted online means that any member of staff can access the programme as and when they need to either remotely or in house.

We decided to switch from our manual system to speed up the booking and confirmation process, also to make the reading of function and kitchen sheets a lot easier. Thankfully I have not had to call the support team often and on the rare occasion that I have (usually human error) the issue has been dealt with swiftly. Events500i is a huge improvement on our previous system. Support have been great during the sign up and setting process, and ongoing. Event management through the system is simple and quick to use making co-ordinators more efficient. Diary management is very easy to use to ensure space is maximized. Reporting features are extensive, so you can drill into the detail of things very easily. It also allows great visibility on users to make sure the team are on track with tasks / work. With the web-based option, we can check availability in real time on appointments.

Switching was such an easy process. It is a very easy to learn programme and if ever we need any help, Support is always an email away and they respond very quickly. As well as the layout of the programme being easy to use, the format of all the documents events500 create are very clear and easy to read. The thing we love about events500 the most is that once you input all the information you require this then creates your quote, contract, function sheet and invoice.
